Itinerary
The hike starts from the 'Potestagno' bus stop, easily reachable from Cortina d'Ampezzo. A gentle forest road leads to San Uberto parking, where the main trail begins. A gradual 3 km ascent through fir and larch forest takes about 2 hours to reach the charming Malga Ra Stua. Optional easy panoramic loop (about 1 hour) on a quiet plateau, or simply relax at the hut. Traditional lunch at the hut featuring local Dolomites cuisine and regional ingredients.
